Klipspringer View Lodge is a fully furnished, self-catering lodge situated on Mabalingwe Nature Reserve outside Bela-Bela. This beautiful lodge boasts with 4 luxurious bedrooms (with queen size beds) in 2 chalets that do not form part of the main building. One chalet has 2 en-suite bedrooms and the other chalet has 2 bedrooms with one shared bathroom. Each room has sliding doors that lead out onto the deck. The main building has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer; and a very spacious, open-plan living room area with a bar (not stocked). The dining area leads out to the main deck. This deck offers a built-in braai (BBQ) area as well as magnificent bushveld views. The lodge has its own jacuzzi, covered parking, and DStv is available. The lodge also has a permanent security guard on duty that ensures guest and vehicle safety during their trip. Mabalingwe is home to the Big 5, and offers game drives, swimming pools, tennis courts and horse-back safaris!

Tiru Lodge

Tiru is a privately owned lodge situated inside Mabalingwe, a Big 5 game reserve 28 km from Bela Bela and 140 km from Pretoria. Enjoy the ultimate bushveld experience, with the ultimate boma/lapa combination, where you can sit around a boma fire underneath a well designed thatch, with all the facilities next to you, including canvas to control wind flow, build-in braai and large table to socialise around. Sit on the deck and enjoy breath-taking views over the reserve, while animals and birds come very close. Baobab Lodge

This privately owned immaculate property is situated in the heart of a well-known Game Reserve near Bele Bela, and can accommodate up to 12 people comfortably. If you need a holiday where you can rest in luxury then this is where you need to stay. On entrance level the house is wheel chair friendly, giving access to the lounge, kitchen, dining room, deck with pool and braai area and one or two bedrooms of choice. This brick and thatch house has four bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms, comfortably sleeping eight people in 3/4 size beds. There are also 2 bunk beds (sleeping 4) in a room adjoining one of the bedrooms. This is like a family unit. Mom and Dad have their own room whilst 4 children can sleep separately in a room --- near to the parents but providing most needed privacy.One bedroom is very private as it has a door that opens directly and only onto the deck. Each room has a magnificent view Bedding and towels are supplied. On-Site This Game Reserve hosts the Big 5 while some even visit the house. Restaurants and shops are nearby and game drives can be arranged at reception. You are more than welcome to do a game drive with your own car as most of the roads are in good condition. Swimming pools, tennis and squash courts are available. Info can be obtained at reception. There is also a private airfield. Off-Site For the keen golfer a golf course is situated nearby. The town Bela Bela is a mere 20 minutes drive and the De Wildt Cheetah sanctuary, which offers guided tours is not far from there.

This is an "Out of Africa" experience where you can escape to a luxurious privately owned bush lodge set in the majestic Mabalingwe Nature Reserve. Tholo lodge is available to only one group at a time ensuring your enjoyment and privacy of this luxurious accommodation. Tholo Lodge sleeps 8 adults and 4 children in 2 double and 2 twin rooms each with its own private entrance and en-suite. This private property in the heart of Mabalingwe will afford you the luxury game reserve holiday you've been wishing for! The brick and thatch structure has four double bedrooms and five bathrooms. The loft sleeps another two people in single beds. Each of the beds has electrical blankets for the winter. Bedding and towels are supplied. The open living area has a fully fitted kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, fridge & dishwasher) and dining room with big ten-seater table and open wood fireplace. The adjacent lounge is fitted with a TV (with DStv) and a small Hi-Fi. There is cellphone/GPRS reception. You will have a magnificent view of the bush and the Gorcum dam. Game can be viewed from the deck, which connects the house to the undercover BBQ area with table-dining for 10. There is a small plunge pool. Please bring own swimming towels. Mabalingwe boasts the "Big Five". The lions are safe in a separate camp, but you can book to attend a feeding (R60.00 per person). Game can also be viewed from your own vehicle, on horse safari's or while bird-watching. For the more active we are affiliated to the Zebula Country Club where the keen golfer can sharpen their skills while the rest of the party can enjoy the facilities of the Club which includes squash/gym/tennis courts, a heated and cold pool. For those who don't wish to cook the Country Club offers excellent dining at value for money prices. Off Site Bela Bela is 20 minutes away, it is renown for the natural hot mineral springs and for those who are more adventurous the aventura resort offers watersports. The De Wildt Cheetah sanctuary within 7km from the home offers guided tours, booking is essential.

KUKAMA Camp at Mabalingwe

Koorsboom Lodge This elegant, tranquil self catering lodge is set on the greater Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, nestled in the magnificent Waterberg Mountains. Only two hours from Johannesburg you can escape to a luxurious lodge with all the expected modern accessories. Tucked away deep in the Mabalingwe Reserve, you will experience the bush in its unspoiled state - the early morning coffee on the deck, maybe in the hide, a luncheon on the deck by the pool, dinner around the fire place under the moonlight and perhaps cognac in the lounge. Mountain Biking The estate offers a network of handmade trails within the 495 hectare nature reserve which vary in degrees of difficulty. The trails range from 5.2km Kids/Family, 7.3km Beginner, 12.4km Advanced and a 20.4km Technical. Some are comfortable rides on the gravel roads but others, like the Advanced and Technical, include challenging single-tracks, loose surfaces, big drops and more demanding terrain. The Kids/Family track has no technical aspects and is perfectly suited for a fun biking outing with bushveld and golf course views. For the Advanced and Technical tracks, you will need to be a bit more technically skilled to cope with the natural obstacles. The trails provide wonderful scenery of the Waterberg bushveld as well as the resident Fauna and Flora. Mountain biking doesn’t come better than this. Restaurant The bar and restaurant is one large open function area with sliding windows opening up magnificent views of the golf course. The fully stocked bar is a comfortable venue with a large counter and several bar tables and chairs for guests to relax, enjoy a drink and admire views of the golf course. There is a fire place located in the middle of the restaurant which is well used during the chilly winter months. All meals are prepared in the main kitchen adjoining the restaurant. Galago Private Bush Lodge

Galago Private Bush Lodge is set in 17 hectare of pure bushveld just 16 km from Bela Bela (Warm Baths) on the R516, Tabazimbi road, only a hour from PTA and 1½ hours from JHB. This is an ideal setting for small private group functions and secluded get a ways!! The only "bush" traffic you will here are our birds and small game and the only "bush" lights you will see are our stunning sunsets, camp fires and magnificent star light nights!! Our camp consists out of: 4 comfortable en suit cottages for 6 - 11 holiday makers. There are 3 x 2 bed cottages, and 1 x 5 bed cottage. Cottages Njala - Sleeps 4 Duiker - Sleeps 2 Bushbuck - Sleeps 2 Impala - Sleeps 7 Each cottage has it's own bathroom with a flush toilet, hand basin and shower, hot and cold water, linen and towels are provided. All the cottages have: bar fridges, coffee and tea stations, kettles, ceiling fans, loose standing/ portable braais. Cooking is done at the communal lapa, which has a bar counter, chest freezer, microwave, 2 plate stove, toaster, crockery, cutlery, all cooking utensils, wash up basins (hot and cold water) dining table and chairs and braai facilities. There is a swimming pool, and paths through the bush to see the resident duiker, abundant bird life and game on the adjoining farms. Wood and ice are provided free of charge. There is uncapped Internet for your use. There are many activities nearby if you want to do more than to just linger and completely relax in our camp. You can visit the elephant and cheetah sanctuaries which are only 10km from our camp. Mabula Game Farm, Diepdrift Game Farm with hiking trails, mountain bike trails and game viewing and Mabalingwe nature reserve. There is a golf course nearby and of course the Hot Springs in the area (16km from us).
